A few weeks back I had to undergo an unexpected medical procedure.

Since then I've been back and forth from the doctor's office, doing multiple check ups and blood tests.

Truthfully, it's been pretty hectic.

Then on one of those mornings I was back for more tests and everything was looking good.

My partner Brad and I left the doctor's to head home. It was 9:30AM.

Then, before getting in the car, I stopped, turned to him, and said "I could really go for some champagne and oysters."

Why?

Because before letting my logical mind take over…

Before rushing back home to catch up on work...

Before diving into the mountain of emails, messages, meetings, and the never-ending to-do list that had piled up all week...

I knew the most productive thing we could do in that moment was celebrate.

And not only celebrate the good news from the doctor.

But celebrate life, each other, all the recent hard work, our dedication to our dreams.

And so we did.

Because that's the true meaning of being the Man and Woman Who Has It All.

So today, I invite you to celebrate yourself.

Not for something big. For one thing you've done this year that you never stopped to acknowledge.

Go celebrate yourself.

Think outside the box.

Be generous.

You deserve it ❤️

Ps. Fun Fact! It's impossible to find fresh oysters at 9:30 AM in Montreal. Yet somehow we found ourselves in the most beautiful spot, with the manager going out of his way to make it happen.

When you stop gripping life so tightly... when you choose celebration over urgency... when you operate from a place of abundance instead of scarcity... life has a funny way of meeting you there.
