Morning Routines & Dating
Hey everyone! 🌞
Do you have a morning routine?
Mine has changed my life.
Today, I want to encourage you to create a morning routine for yourself OR…
If you already have one, to give it an AUDIT! 📝
Just because you have one, doesn’t mean it’s serving you.
For example, if your current ‘routine’ is rolling to your side, scrolling IG with your eyes half-closed, and then downing 2 cups of coffee…
It might be time for an upgrade.
But What Does This Have to Do with Dating?
What you focus on expands. So if you want your dating life to be more expansive, start focusing on it more.
If you take the time to set the foundation right at the start of the day, it will lead to more intentional steps in your dating life.
Feeling good, easing your stress, and having a plan will absolutely change the way you show up in your interactions with women, on dating apps, and beyond.
8 ways to boost your mornings in under 5 minutes
1. Gratitude practice. Write down 3 things you're grateful for. From the big things like your health, to the small things, like your favourite plant.
2. Intention setting. Decide how you want to show up for whatever comes your way today. Example: “I handle challenges with patience, understanding and integrity”. Write it down on a post-it.
3. Look in the mirror and say something kind to yourself. This increases self-esteem and body positivity.
4. Get sunlight in your eyes. Natural light helps regulate your circadian rhythm and energizes you. The fresh air is an added bonus.
5. Drink water. Before you pour that cup of coffee, rehydrate your body with at least one glass of water. Add some lemon and sea salt for an extra boost.
6. Get your blood flowing. Try this 60 second sequence to remove blockages and increase your energy instantly.
7. Meditation. Even a few minutes can reduce stress and increase focus. Try these 5 minute meditations:
👉🏼 Breath work with Andrew Huberman
👉🏼 Mindful presence with Tara Brach
👉🏼 Meditation you can do anywhere
8. Journaling. Transferring your thoughts to paper is wildly effective for clarity and emotional release.
