INSTAGRAM Q&A

Hey, did you know…

Everyday, I post a Q&A on my Instagram story. I answer all your questions about dating and relationships 🤯

No question is too ‘beginner’ and I get lots of interesting inquiries.

Here are the top questions from men last week👇🏽

🤷‍♂️ Question

How do you know if a waitress likes you or is just doing her job?

Ask her & find out!

“Do you kinda like me or are you just really good at your job?”

It's cute and it's playful! This is how dating works, this is how all relationships start. By talking and by expressing interest. Be respectful and shoot your shot!

🤷‍♂️ Question

Tips for long distance relationships?

Building a relationship requires commitment, near or far.

Long-distance relationships have unique challenges, but they're definitely worth exploring if the connection is real.

Here are 4 tips to keep your long-distance relationship on track:

1. Have rituals.

Things you do everyday or week no matter what. Good morning texts, coffee & FaceTime at lunch, dinner on Fridays—whatever. As long as it’s something that is reserved just for the two of you.

2. Get creative with your dates.

Take a virtual yoga or cooking class. Shop for the same groceries & meal plan. Switch it up often, just like you would in person. Think "Together Apart".

3. Make NO assumptions.

Communication is the foundation of all relationships, but twice as important for long distance. Both of you should be obsessed with being on the same page about where things stand. Be annoying about it if you have to.

4. Have your next meet up planned.

Even if it’s far away, you next visit should always be marked in the calendar, no exceptions.

 🤷‍♂️ Question…

Most of the time when I’m out in public, my son is with me. Any tips on making connections?

Such a great way to make connections with single moms!

At playgrounds, dog parks, even Walmart or grocery stores!

Start conversations by saying something like…

  • "Your little one is adorable! What's his name?"

  • "Been thinking of trying that (item in cart), how's your little one liking it?"

  • Introduce the kids, then say - "Gonna take advantage of this 3 mins of adult conversation. Hi, I'm John, what's your name?"

 🤷‍♂️ Question…

How do I convince someone who's very busy to make time for a first date?

First… Language! Tsk tsk ❌❌❌

When it comes to dating, you shouldn't have to "convince" anyone of anything. Your interest in meeting and getting to know each other should be mutual.

If she keeps telling you she's busy, take the hint. Focus your time and precious energy on someone who's interested and more compatible.

And there you have it! Real questions from real men, just like you.

Remember, you don't have to navigate this alone! I'm here to help guide you every step of the way.

📬 ‘Hit Submit’ is all about embracing your curiosity and the strength in seeking support!

This week, your mission is to open yourself up to new perspectives and assistance. You have 7 days to complete the steps below:

Step 1 - Reflect! Take a moment to write down 1 question that's on your mind. If it’s about dating, great. But it doesn’t even have to be! Any question you have about being single right now is valid.

Step 2 - Connect! Follow me on Instagram by clicking here. (Btw, I share a ton advice and resources for men that you don’t wanna miss.)

Step 3 - Submit! Check out my story for the “Ask Coach Kavita” question box, and submit your question.

💡Pro-tip - Not used to asking for help? If this mission makes you uncomfortable, all the more reason to lean into it.

And remember this, by asking your question, you help not only yourself but also your fellow men on similar paths. Someone out there will be grateful you asked!
