Coach K’s First Pitch Method in 4 Easy Steps 👋🏼

Step 1: Say something random or silly that’s enough to get her attention on you. Here are some examples…

• “You know… this place is supposedly haunted”

• "You know, I'm the one responsible for (the weather today)”

• “You know, I’m the reason they invented the (cappuccino)”

• “You know, I’m the inventor of the (wine glass)”

• “You know, I can run really really fast…”

Step 2: She responds with either a playful “Oh really?” or a curious “Huh?”.

This is your cue…

Step 3: Keeping the mood light, tell her the truth and introduce yourself.

• “Not really…….. but I needed something to break the ice. I’m Ben by the way. What’s your name?”

From there, keep the conversation moving with simple questions.

Like how her night is going, what got her to the event, who she knows, if she lives in the area, that kinda of stuff.

Step 4: The only transition you’ll ever need

If the vibes are good, end off with a casual “Well it was nice meeting you, I gotta get going…”

Followed by one of these:

• “How do we keep in touch after this?”

• “Are you on Instagram?”

• “Wanna grab a drink sometime?”

• “Cool if I text you this week?”

PSA: You’ll fumble 80% of the time.

When you go up to a woman, please be sincere and respectful—and release your expectations.

The goal is not to have an agenda other than to connect, have fun, and make her day better.

If you fumble 80% of the time, it means 20% of the time, it will work.

That’s one phone number, date or Instagram exchange for every 5 attempts.

• Seems like a busy day today, how's it been going for you?

• You look like you're in good spirits! Is it a special day or just feeling great?

• Thanks, have a great day!

• You’re really great at your job.

• You’re dog is so cute!

• That's a great book 💯 

• Yum, that's my favorite sushi roll, enjoy!
