Welcome back to How To Meet Women on Instagram!
Last week I kicked off a special 3-part series about the greatest untapped playground of single women… 👩🏻👩👩🏽

This week it’s all about how to discover real women on the app and the best way to build rapport with them.
But why is this important??
Because, once you master the technique, it’s a highly effective way to land dates easily.
So keep reading.
Part 2 - Find, Follow & Friend!
Now that your profile is all set and shining ✨ the next steps are to…
Find the right women to connect with.
Hit that follow button.
And yes - kick things off by becoming a genuine friend.
Listen up! ‘Friend' is the magic word here.
Because at this stage, if she senses that all you’re pursuing is a date, it’s game over.
So, let's focus on how to build a real connection first…
Are you thinking 'How do I even find local women on IG?'
Implement the ‘F&F’ Strategy in 3 steps 👇🏽
Step 1 - Find local communities that share your exact interests. You’ll do this by exploring hashtags that combine your hobbies with your city. For example: #ChicagoFoodies or #AustinMusicians or #SeattleHikers.
Step 2 - Go deeper into the local scene by following well-known restaurants, bars, and event organizers.
Here, you’ll use broader hashtags like #NetworkingEventsNYC, #DenverBreweries, #LAArtShows, or #AustinEvents.
Also, keep an eye out for specific event hashtags like #MiamiArtWeek or #BostonMarathon.
Step 3 - Next, after finding several local businesses, communities and events, look through their followers list.
It's a treasure trove for spotting women who love the same places and activities as you.
⭐️ Bonus: As you browse through these followers, prioritize women with an active story (indicated by a colorful ring around their profile photo), and those commenting or liking recent posts.
This signals they're active on Instagram, making them more likely to engage with you when the time comes.
👉🏽 Follow without expectation. They don’t need to follow you back!
Now, build rapport in 30 days
OK, you’ve found and followed lots of new women. It’s time to make some friends!
As you know, traditional dating apps require an ongoing exchange. On Instagram, however, a one-sided conversation is not just normal — it's encouraged 🥳
Step 1 - Start simple. ‘Like’ her recent posts and react to her stories. This is a subtle way of saying, "Hey, I'm here 👋🏾, and I'm interested in what you're sharing" without stepping into her space too quickly.
Step 2 - Get talkin’. It’s crucial to maintain a friendly tone in your interactions. Something casual like, "This place looks amazing! Where is it?" or "Love this, didn’t know we had such cool spots in Chicago." is all you need.
Step 3 - Keep it fresh. Focus only on her stories or latest posts to ensure you’re engaging with her most recent experiences. Doom scrolling her grid can be seen as a red flag 🚩🚩🚩
⭐️ Bonus: Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Engage with tons of accounts at a time. Give away ‘likes’ freely, like candy on Halloween night!
👉🏽 Engage without expectation. Forming a connection often takes 30 days, so interact every so often but don’t over do it!

Remember! You are a stranger to her (and vice versa!). Be cool 😎

It may sound like a lot, but you can easily accomplish this in 30-60 minutes once you find a few solid accounts with a strong local following.
Note: Only start this mission if your profile is ready to roll (as detailed in last week's Part 1). But if not, don't sweat it. Simply continue to make refining your profile your priority.
