Every week, we deliver a ‘Man Up Mission’, designed to help you see tangible results in your dating life.
Your mission is always directly connected to the latest edition of The Dating Dose. Before diving in, make sure you've taken a look at it otherwise the mission won’t make much sense!

The Joy Jetpack 🚀🚀

📬 ‘The Joy Jetpack’ is about reuniting with joy, fun and happiness!
Over the next 7 days, your mission is to create a direct path to embodying inner 'Mr. Good Vibes' following the steps below.
Step 1 - Awareness 🧠 If you're new to this kind of self-discovery and emotional work, we encourage you to start with the basics. Make it your goal to simply become aware of your emotional state (This is Step 1 of ‘How to use the emotional guidance scale’ outlined in the last Dating Dose). Each time you notice how you feel, just identify the emotion on the scale, either on paper or even mentally.- that’s it!
If you’re ready for more, the ‘Joy Jetpack 🚀 ’ is for you. In its simplest form, it’s a list of activities that make you feel good, and it’s broken down into two categories: (1) Insta-Joy and (2) Jump-to-Joy.
Let’s take a closer look.
(1) - Insta-Joy activities are actions that can immediately lift your mood and help you move up a few notches on the scale. They should be simple and doable anywhere. Some examples could be:
😌 Breath work
🎵 Listening to your hype song
📖 Reading a favorite quote
📱 Watching a funny video on YouTube
🚶🏻♂️ Taking a walk
🧘🏽♂️ Meditation
🙌 Gratitude practice
(2) - Jump-to-Joy activities might require some planning but have the ability to boost your emotional state significantly. Some examples could be:
🌄 Hiking in nature (or any physical activity you love)
⚽ A new hobby or class
🍻 Spending time with a good friend
🪴 Gardening
💬 Therapy session
💆♂️ Spa day (cold plunge, anyone?)
🗺️ Planning something that gets you excited, like a trip
Start by listing 1-3 activities under each category. Keep adding to the lists as you reconnect with yourself and discover new things that lift your mood! 🚀 Put them into practice often, both in and around your dating life.
