DATING DEEP DIVE

Do You Need Alcohol to Date?🍷

Dating and alcohol – it seems like you can't have one without the other these days.

If you’re actively putting yourself out there and feeling the pressure to plan your first dates around drinks, things can start to feel repetitive, less meaningful (and even overwhelming).

This has been coming up more often in my conversations with clients lately.

I’m here to tell you, not every first date needs to revolve around alcohol.

Early stage dating should be fun, and should also prioritize creating connection and gauging compatibility. In fact, skipping the booze can often lead to quicker, more genuine connections because there's less to 'hide behind'.

(And if you’ve been relying on liquid courage to be ‘yourself’, then it’s definitely time to switch things up)

Whether you’re looking for a change in your dating experiences, wanting to cut down on alcohol in general, or that you simply don’t drink…

Thinking outside the wine bottle can be incredibly beneficial.

Here are 5 date ideas that promise more authentic connections and deeper bonds, beyond the booze👇🏽

PRO TIP! 💡Awkward Silences Are Not Your Fault!

It's common to hear about first dates feeling like interviews...

Conversations can feel forced, boring, and prone to awkward silences.

And then you end up writing off your date (or being written off) as an ‘incompatible’, match.

But often, it's not about compatibility. It’s about the environment!

That's why I’m all for the 'Side by Side' date.

When you're sitting or walking side by side, you're not stuck in a staring contest. Instead, you’re sharing experiences.

There’s always something around to spark a conversation, leading to more interesting and natural interactions than the usual Q&A session.

Plus, this setting allows you to be less conscious and more at ease with your body language.

Date Idea 1 - Art galleries or Museums 🎨

Art galleries and museums offer a special kind of dating experience because the variety of paintings, sculptures, and other exhibits provides an array of interesting conversation starters.

The spaces are relaxed and visually appealing, providing a welcoming atmosphere which can help take the pressure off and make you both comfortable.

Date Idea 2 - Arcades or Board Game Cafes 🎯

Channeling your inner kid is such a good way to bond.

Games are a fun and playful way to see how someone engages, learns, and reacts—they can take your mind off the nerves and the overthinking often paired with 1st or 2nd dates.

This environment encourages a little healthy competition and offers a deeper insight into someone's vibe and personality, far beyond the typical face-to-face conversations.

Date Idea 3 - Seasonal Activities (ex: Christmas market)🎄

I'm a big fan of seasonal events because their limited-time nature adds a special touch to your time together.

They often offer unique visual elements and opportunities that aren't available year-round, making them great for creating memorable moments.

During the holidays, you've got Christmas markets; in summer, there are farmers markets and festivals, and come Halloween, haunted houses.

The options are endless (you might just need to refine your research skills!).

Each season brings its own charm and flavor to your date.

YO YO YO I GOT NEWS…

I’m hosting ‘Becoming Mr. Right’ again…

The last masterclass of this year.

Where you will learn:

🔥How to build unshakable confidence.
🔥How to triple your matches on dating apps (even if you don't look like Brad Pitt).
🔥How to receive messages from the type of women you’re seeking.
🔥How to confidently approach women, feel at ease and score.

And because it's the last one, I decided to do something a lil special…

Consider it an early Christmas present 😄

Date Idea 4 - Brunch 🍳

Brunch is the perfect alternative to the classic dinner date.

It captures that same 'meal out' vibe but without the usual pressure or expectation of alcohol.

⚡️Quick Tip: For a touch of traditional date night charm, consider opting for a high-end brunch spot. Many hotels offer luxurious brunch experiences that can add an extra layer of sophistication to your date.

Date Idea 5 - Scenic drive with hot chocolate 🚗

A relaxing drive is a surprisingly fun and underrated idea, great for a laid back daytime outing.

You have the freedom to stop whenever you like, maybe for a quick bite or to stretch your legs and enjoy the view.

Just pick a scenic route, grab some hot chocolate, and set the vibe with a great playlist (click here for one of my Spotify suggestions).

⚡️Quick Tip: You can turn this into an evening date with a drive-in movie, with candy and popcorn 🍿

HOLD UP! ✋🏽

IT’S TIME FOR ACTION! THIS WEEK’S MISSION IS…

‘No-Booze Banter’

When I coach clients, we don't just chat over coffee. We roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty.

That's why every week, I bring you the Man Up Mission. Think of it as your weekly homework with a fun twist, designed to get you real results in your dating life.

📬 ‘No Booze Banter’ is all about connecting with women in diverse environments!

This week, your mission is to strike up a conversation in a new or unusual setting. You have 7 days.

Step 1 - Initiate a conversation outside of the typical bar or party scene. This could be at a coffee shop (try this effective method for approaching women), a bookstore, an art exhibit, or even while waiting in line at a grocery store (check out my A-Z guide to meeting women at grocery stores).

Step 2 - DM me on Instagram and tell me once you’ve to completed the mission. Accountability is highly effective! (Btw, I share a ton advice and resources for men that you don’t wanna miss, so make sure to follow me too.)

This exercise is designed to build confidence and reinforce the idea that meaningful interactions aren't limited to traditional date settings or scenarios that involve alcohol.

You got this! 💪🏽

I WANNA HEAR FROM YOU! 👂🏽

That's all for now!
